Most white deposits in the urine are due to diseases of the genitourinary system and it is usually recommended to first visit the urology department for a routine urine test to determine the specific disease based on the routine urine results, combined with symptoms and imaging tests.
If the patient has no symptoms of urinary discomfort but has increased leucorrhoea and perineal itching a prompt visit to the gynaecologist should be made. Some patients with gout leading to urinary stones may also have gravel-like white deposits in their urine, which can also be treated at the nephrology and rheumatology departments.
