What should I do if I have white sediment in my urine?

Patients should promptly consult a nephrologist to check the nature of the white precipitate and identify the cause. If it is pus urine, antibiotics should be applied after identifying the type of bacteria; if it is celiac disease one should consult a urologist for surgical treatment or medication.
If the white precipitate is found, it is usually advisable to drink plenty of water and to urinate promptly. If the cause is inflammation or stones, a large amount of urine flushing will help to recover from the disease. If it is caused by filariasis, a long-term low-fat, moderate-protein diet is recommended.
