Patterns of care for atopic dermatitis in children

The first thing you should do is to try to find the causative factors and focus on prevention and care. This is a good way to prevent atopic dermatitis from occurring in infants who are fed artificially, so attention should be paid to reasonable feeding. For infants allergic to milk, milk can be boiled several times to denature the milk proteins to reduce allergic reactions; goat milk or soy milk can also be fed instead. If the infant is found to be allergic to egg whites, temporarily eat only egg yolks. 2, breastfeeding, the mother ate into the food can appear in the form of antigens in the breast milk cause infant eczema. The breastfeeding mother should avoid spicy and other irritating and seafood and other indigestible foods. Mothers should restrict their diet when their children have severe skin lesions, such as milk, eggs, etc. Newborns with a family history of allergies should be breastfed as much as possible. The active ingredients in breast milk help prevent food antigens from being absorbed through the intestinal mucosa. Breastfeeding can make the infant’s intestinal flora less likely to produce bacterial endotoxin, which has the effect of protecting infants from allergic diseases. 3. Vaccination should be suspended for infants with severe skin lesions. 4, the occurrence of atopic dermatitis is related to the living environment, so keep the room clean and hygienic, ventilation. Avoid excessive heat and humidity indoors. Do not stay in the direct sun and high temperature to reduce the stimulation of sweat on the skin. Bathing water temperature should not be too high, to 36-38 ℃ warm water bath is good, advocate once a day bath, do not use alkaline too strong bath and soap. Emolliency is a very important adjunct to treatment. Topical medications and/or moisturizers should be used after bathing, which can prevent moisture dissipation through the skin, play a moisturizing role, and reduce the chance of skin infections. Medical skin care products have effects that medications do not: deep repair, rebuilding the skin barrier, moisturizing and nourishing, and protective effects. In the heavier stages of atopic dermatitis, some topical medications can be used. When the condition is relieved, we can gradually reduce the number of medications and the concentration of medications, and gradually stop using some of the medications, and exclusively use medical skin care products to keep the skin moisturized. 5, wash baby clothes, bedding and diapers to rinse soap or detergent, dry season can use some pediatric applicable softener to reduce static electricity. Clothes should preferably be cotton fabrics, and clean, comfortable, loose and soft, avoiding too tight, too hard, too dirty clothing to produce adverse skin irritation.
