Which breast diseases can be selected for breast lumpectomy?

What is breast laparoscopy? Breast laparoscopy, like laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, is performed by drilling holes in the body and delivering a camera and surgical instruments to the body. The camera has a magnification function that can magnify the tissue 4 times to 7 times, and a high-definition camera can magnify up to 10 times, so that the surgery can be observed more clearly. What breast diseases can be treated by breast lumpectomy? Breast lumpectomy can treat a wide range of benign breast diseases such as breast fibroids, breast hyperplasia with combined masses, and breast cancer. Can breast lumpectomy be performed for patients with different stages? There are four clinical stages of breast cancer, stage 1 and 2 are early and middle stages, and stage 3 and 4 are advanced stages. For stage 3 or 4 breast cancer patients, breast lumpectomy can be performed if the lump is less than 5 cm, but not if it is more than 5 cm and needs to be enlarged. The lymph nodes that exceed 1 cm cannot be removed. In this case, neoadjuvant chemotherapy will be given before surgery to shrink the lymph nodes, and if they can be reduced to less than 1 cm, breast lumpectomy can be performed. Other breast cancers are basically possible and breast lumpectomy can also remove lymph nodes.
