What diseases can cause lingual papillomatosis?

  Chronic lingual tonsillitis (chroniclingualtonsilitis), or hypertrophy of the lingual tonsils, is mostly caused by recurrent episodes of acute lingual tonsillitis that turn into chronic. Mostly related to chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, excessive smoking and drinking, stimulation of irritating foods and harmful gases. It often coexists with chronic tonsillitis, and compensatory hypertrophy of the lingual tonsils may also occur after tonsillectomy. The disease occurs mostly in adults and is rare in children.  It is most often caused by recurrent episodes of acute lingual tonsillitis that turn into chronic inflammation and repeated irritation resulting in hyperplasia. It is mostly associated with chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, excessive smoking and alcohol consumption, and stimulation by irritating foods and harmful gases. It often coexists with chronic tonsillitis, and compensatory hypertrophy of the lingual tonsils may also occur after tonsillectomy. The disease occurs mostly in adults and is rare in children.  Actively treat inflammatory lesions of the respiratory tract, such as chronic pharyngitis and chronic tonsillitis, quit smoking and alcohol, use less irritating food, and manage environmental pollution. Local application of 5% to 10% silver nitrate or 1% iodine glycerin can often reduce symptoms. Do not drink alcohol, do not eat spicy and other irritating food, and it is also important to keep the mouth clean, brush your teeth in the morning and evening, rinse your mouth after meals, etc.
