What to do if you have a toothache after eating

Toothache after eating may require treatment such as cleaning out the embedded food, orthodontics, fillings, root canal treatment or extraction of the affected tooth, etc. It is recommended to go to the dentist for specific examination and treatment.
1. If the pain is caused by food jammed in between teeth, you can clean out the jammed food and brush your teeth in time to rinse your mouth. If the gap between the teeth is large due to misalignment, it is easy to stuff food, you can do orthodontics to close the gap.
2. If the toothache is caused by deep carious cavities and food stuffing, you can remove the food and the soft part of the corrosion, and then use the resin material to repair the tooth.
3. If the pain persists and cannot be relieved, it may be pulpitis, which requires root canal treatment.
4. If tooth splitting has occurred, the affected tooth may need to be extracted if the situation is serious.
