Rehabilitation exercises can be done two months after ankle bone surgery. In fact, as long as the condition is stable on the day after ankle bone surgery, you can start the rehabilitation training, and the rehabilitation period usually lasts until 9~12 weeks after the surgery, and the training content is different in each time period. 1. 0~3 weeks after surgery: take bed exercise as the main exercise, elevate the injured limb in favor of swelling, start small range and small intensity toe flexion and extension exercise (toe pump training), lower limb straight leg raising, side leg raising, back leg raising training. To avoid lower extremity deep vein thrombosis, muscle atrophy. At the same time, strengthen the upper limb muscle strength training, in order to use crutches or walkers to walk. 2. 5~8 weeks after surgery: continue to increase ankle joint mobility and lower limb muscle strength. Depending on the healing of the fracture line, gradually increase the weight-bearing of the injured limb under the guidance of the rehabilitator until the limb is completely off the crutches. 3. 9~12 weeks after surgery: Continue to strengthen the function of the lower limb, perform heel lifting exercises, step up and down exercises, running and jumping exercises from slow to fast.
