Dietary principles for gastrointestinal colds include drinking plenty of warm water and eating fresh vegetables and fruits, but in moderation and in small amounts.
The main symptoms of gastrointestinal cold include vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, fatigue, fever and other manifestations, and its diet is as follows:
1. Drink more water: patients with gastrointestinal-type colds should drink water preferably with warm boiled water or lightly salted water. Due to gastrointestinal cold, patients may have several times of diarrhea, the body will lose a lot of water and electrolytes, so patients should be encouraged to drink a small amount of water, many times, or drink salty vegetable soup.
2. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits, such as tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, wild rice, white radish, pumpkin, bitter melon, apples, jujubes and so on.
3. You should eat more easy-to-digest foods, such as millet porridge, rice porridge and noodle soup.
The above foods should be eaten in moderation and less frequently to reduce the burden on the gastrointestinal tract; attention should be paid to dietary cleanliness, especially fruits and melons should be cleaned to avoid ingesting unclean foods.
