Is Gram-positive cocci treatable?

Gram-positive cocci are a type of bacteria, including staphylococci, streptococci, etc. are gram-positive cocci, so a gram-positive cocci infection is a bacterial infection, and treatment is relatively easy with the use of sensitive antibiotics. Gram-positive coccus infection is often caused by purulent inflammation, so, it is also called purulent coccus. These bacteria can be widespread in nature and can be found in air, water, soil; skin, intestinal mucosa, and gastrointestinal tract of humans and livestock. For the treatment of Gram-positive cocci, the antibiotic of choice is penicillin; however, penicillin allergy can be treated with macrolide antibiotics, including erythromycin and azithromycin. Therefore, once gram-positive cocci are diagnosed, treatment is not particularly difficult.
