The common causes of babies walking with a sudden limp are transient hip synovitis, peripheral nerve injury or trauma.
1. Synovitis. After the diagnosis is confirmed through blood tests, radiographs and ultrasound, the first thing to do is to put the baby on bed rest for one to two weeks, and try not to let the baby sit up, stand up or walk during the period of braking. If the test results indicate that there is a bacterial or viral infection, it is necessary to give the child some antiviral and anti-infectious drugs, and go to the hospital for a review after two weeks.
2. Peripheral nerve injury. Electromyography suggests that there are changes of neurological damage, accompanied by decreased muscle strength and tendon reflexes. Give the child some nerve-nourishing drugs, and pay attention to the diet structure, eat more vegetables and fruits, and avoid drinking carbonated beverages as much as possible.
3. Trauma. Pay attention to whether the baby has recently fallen and injured, if necessary, need to consult a doctor for examination.
In short, the baby walking suddenly appeared limp, must timely lead the child to the doctor, find the cause as soon as possible treatment.
