Treatment of duodenal bulb ulcers with bleeding consists mainly of general therapy, i.e., medication and endoscopic treatment. Duodenal bulb ulcers are the destruction of the mucosa of the duodenal bulb caused by various etiological factors, eventually forming ulcers, which can cause chronic, periodic, rhythmic epigastric pain, and in severe cases, ulcer bleeding can occur, causing vomiting of blood and black stools, and so on. The treatment of duodenal bulb ulcers mainly includes acid-suppressing treatment, gastric mucosal protector treatment, acid-suppressing drugs mainly include proton pump inhibitors and H2 receptor antagonists, and gastric mucosal protector drugs mainly include bismuth, and if the effect of oral drugs is unsatisfactory, endoscopic hemostasis, or even surgical treatment should be considered, and so on. If ulcers are found in the duodenal bulb, biopsy should be taken for examination, and the chance of duodenal bulb ulcers becoming cancerous is extremely low.
