How to treat syringomyelia without surgery

If surgery is not an option for syringomyelia, conservative treatment and puncture and aspiration are recommended. If the syringomyelia is small, it is recommended to follow up and observe, and the scrotal ultrasound examination can be repeated every six months. If the syringomyelia is large and symptoms are present, it is recommended to have a puncture and injection of sclerosing agent into the syringomyelia. However, this treatment has some disadvantages and may lead to recurrence. In addition, the injection of sclerosing agent may lead to inflammation and infection, causing painful clinical symptoms. So for these two methods, it is recommended to choose carefully.
