Inguinal hernia is what we usually call “small intestine”, we call hernias that occur in the inguinal region as inguinal hernia, which includes hiatal, rectal and femoral hernia (strictly speaking femoral hernia is not part of inguinal hernia). Any organ or tissue that leaves its original site and enters another part of the body through a normal or abnormal weak point or defect or orifice is called a hernia. The most common type of hernia is an extra-abdominal hernia, 95% of which are inguinal hernias, one of the most common diseases in surgery.
