Blister-like rashes in children may be caused by skin diseases such as chickenpox, hand, foot and mouth disease, herpes simplex and others. Antiviral treatment and symptomatic treatment are needed according to the condition.
1. Chickenpox: Chickenpox is an infectious disease, caused by varicella-zoster virus infection. It may cause itchy red spots and herpes on the skin. Early isolation is recommended to avoid spreading the disease to others. Acyclovir can be given to promote blister healing and shorten the course of the disease. Topical glycerite lotion can be used to help relieve itching.
2. Hand, foot and mouth disease: Hand, foot and mouth disease is also a common infectious disease in children, manifested as erythema and blisters on the palms, soles of the feet, and in the mouth. It is recommended to isolate the disease first, take a light diet, avoid damaging the oral mucosa, strengthen the care of local skin and mucous membranes, and avoid infections, as well as to give antiviral drugs, such as acyclovir, under the guidance of a doctor.
3. Herpes simplex: Herpes simplex is associated with viral infections, which may lead to clustered blisters on the skin, preferably around the mouth and lips, accompanied by obvious pain and itching. The main treatment drugs include acyclovir, valacyclovir, and penciclovir.
