Acne can be removed through general treatment, topical medication, systemic medication, and phototherapy as prescribed by your doctor.
1. General treatment: Usually, you need to pay attention to using water or mild cleanser to wash the excess keratin or oil on the skin, so as to reduce acne; pay attention to moisturizing the skin to avoid excessive dryness of the skin; do not squeeze or scratch the local area with your hands; avoid spicy and stimulating or oily and sweet foods in your diet, and eat more light and easy-to-digest foods.
2. Topical medication: For milder acne, you can use topical retinoic acid medication, such as retinoic acid ointment, etc., and pay attention to avoiding the use of light; you can also use benzoyl peroxide topically, which kills germs, astringes and dissolves pimples; and azelaic acid cream topically, which is anti-inflammatory and dissolves pimples.
3. Systemic medication: for severe cases, oral antibiotic treatment, such as minocycline, doxycycline, etc.; violaceous or polymerized acne, oral isotretinoin treatment, but this drug has teratogenic side effects, men and women of childbearing age and pregnancy is prohibited; oral glucocorticosteroid treatment, such as prednisone, etc., if necessary.
4. Phototherapy: For mild to moderate lesions, LED blue light or red light treatment can be taken; severe acne, 5-amino ketoglutaric acid can be used externally through photodynamic therapy, plus red light treatment; for the regression of acne with red prints of the reporter, intense pulsed light, pulsed fuel flushing light and other physical therapy can be taken to remove acne.
It is recommended that patients go to the dermatology department of a regular hospital, follow the doctor’s instructions and use reasonable medication, not blindly self-medication.
