Tips and precautions for decocting herbs for patients with chronic gastritis

Patients with chronic gastritis, especially atrophic gastritis, tend to have a longer course of herbal conditioning, and patients with gastric disease also tend to take herbal medicines differently from other people, so how to get a good handle on the skills is the key to adhering to Chinese medicine conditioning. First of all, herbal tonics advocate self-decoction. Some studies have confirmed that the active ingredients of herbal medicines in lieu of decoction are only one-third of those in self-decoction. Self-decoction, on the other hand, is not guaranteed for many people because of time. We suggest that you can decoct two doses of herbal medicine together, that is, take two doses of medicine, use a larger enamel pot or casserole, and pre-soak it for 1 hour when you have time, just let the water just diffuse over the herbal medicine. Then bring it to a boil on high heat and change the heat to a gentle one for 20 minutes to strain out the first dose. Add cold water again, bring to a boil and then boil for 20 minutes over moderate heat and strain out the liquid. Mix with the first time and place in a container. The dregs of the medicine can then be discarded. Chinese medicine has a great advantage in the treatment of chronic gastritis and can be a good solution to the sufferings of patients, especially some problems that cannot be solved by Western medicine. So it is important to make sure that the patient can cooperate well with the treatment, that is, to have good compliance. After the medicine is boiled, put it in the refrigerator, take a quarter of it each time, and steam it under water before eating. It is recommended to take the medicine half an hour to one hour after meals. After taking the medicine, you can eat some snacks or contain some icing sugar, but it is not recommended to add sugar to the medicine.
