Can bile reflux heal itself?

Physiologic bile reflux can be relieved by adjusting diet and lifestyle habits, and can be self-cured. Pathologic bile reflux, on the other hand, cannot be cured by itself and requires standardized clinical treatment.
Physiologic bile reflux is related to eating too much or too fast, and can be greatly improved by changing dietary habits.
Pathologic bile reflux is usually caused by organic lesions, due to gastric pyloric insufficiency or acute and chronic biliary inflammation and other diseases, which is a manifestation of the dysfunction of the pylorus, duodenum, and gastric cooperative movement, and requires medication or surgical treatment to alleviate the symptoms.
For patients with bile reflux, it is recommended to consult the gastroenterology department, improve gastroscopy and other related examinations, to clarify the cause of the disease, whether there are organic factors, cause-specific treatment, standardized treatment under the guidance of the physician, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
