Frequent dizziness and gastrointestinal discomfort are not usually caused by stomach cancer, but mostly by other reasons. In the early stage of gastric cancer, there are generally no obvious symptoms, and patients occasionally have upper abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, etc. With the development of the disease, upper abdominal pain can gradually increase, and symptoms such as decreased appetite, weakness, emaciation and weight loss can appear. Lymph node metastasis, anemia, jaundice, ascites, malnutrition and even cachexia may appear in late stage due to tumor spread. As for gastrointestinal discomfort, it is mostly clinically considered as gastroenteritis or gastric ulcer, because of excessive gastric acid or pepsin’s digestion of its own mucous membrane, which causes patients to have symptoms such as gastric distension, nausea and vomiting. There are more reasons for frequent headache, but usually there is no correlation with gastric cancer, and patients need to undergo CT, MRI and other examinations to clarify. Therefore, it is recommended that patients with frequent dizziness and gastrointestinal discomfort should promptly visit the gastroenterology department of the hospital and take symptomatic treatment after clarifying the cause.
