One and a half months after heel fracture surgery, you can do some ankle exercises for rehabilitation.
On the first day after the heel fracture surgery, you need to carry out plaster external fixation, elevate the affected limb to carry out tibialis anterior muscle isometric contraction training appropriately. Within two weeks after the operation, the active flexion and extension of the toes can be practiced. The contraction exercise of quadriceps muscle and leg raising exercise should be carried out to prevent atrophy of the ankle joint.
For 2 to 8 weeks after surgery, including about one and a half months, active or passive flexion and extension of the ankle joint can be done in bed to prevent stiffness of the ankle joint.
After 8 weeks of surgery, if the bone scab grows well, you can walk on crutches to exercise the mobility of the joint and promote the recovery of muscle strength until you abandon the crutches and walk normally.
It is recommended that patients carry out rehabilitation training under the guidance of doctors to avoid secondary injuries caused by blind self-training.
