How to treat a normal A-factor 8 but with nodules

Normal thyroid function is represented by eight normal thyroid function tests. If the thyroid nodules with normal thyroid function are benign, regular observation is usually sufficient; if they are malignant, they need to be treated surgically; benign nodules accompanied by compression also need to be treated surgically.
Benign, asymptomatic thyroid nodules with normal thyroid function do not require special intervention, but they need to be reviewed regularly to determine whether the nodules have a tendency to become malignant.
In case of malignant thyroid nodules or benign thyroid nodules with compression symptoms surgery is needed. If the thyroid function is abnormal, it needs to be treated with medication, such as hyperthyroidism, which needs to be treated with antithyroid drugs such as propylthiouracil, and hypothyroidism, which needs to be treated with levothyroxine sodium tablets for hormone replacement therapy.
If the thyroid function is normal but there are nodules, it is recommended to consult the endocrinology department, according to the ultrasound results to determine the benign and malignant, if necessary, puncture biopsy to clarify the diagnosis, and standardize the treatment under the guidance of the physician.
