Yin ting (uterine prolapse or even prolapse from the vaginal opening) is a Chinese medical condition in which a woman’s uterus prolapses, or even prolapses beyond the vulva or bulges out of the vaginal wall. It can be treated with internal medication such as tonifying the middle and benefiting the qi. Yin ting is mostly caused by excessive damage to qi and blood at the time of delivery, resulting in a deficiency of qi, or a deficiency of the kidneys, which can be categorized into qi deficiency and kidney deficiency. 1. For those with qi deficiency: the uterus can be seen to move downward or prolapse outside the vaginal opening, which is aggravated by exertion; the abdomen falls down, there is little qi and laziness in speech (lack of strength, not wanting to speak), and the limbs are weak, etc. The treatment should be tonifying the middle Jiaozhong and yiqi (treating the deficiency of qi by tonifying the spleen), and ascending and lifting up the yang qi of the body in order to lift up the organs that have been submerged, which can be treated with tonifying the middle Jiaozhong and yiqi Tang. The adverse effects of this formula are not known. This formula is contraindicated in patients with Yin deficiency and internal heat. 2. Kidney deficiency: the uterus can be seen moving downward or prolapsing out of the vaginal opening, aggravated by exertion; lower abdomen falling, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (the feeling of lumbar and knee soreness and weakness), dizziness and tinnitus, frequent urination, especially in the night and so on, the treatment should be tonifying the kidney to consolidate and lift up the qi, and may take Dazhong Yiqi Decoction. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this formula are not clear. This formula is contraindicated for those with yin deficiency and hyperactivity (deficiency of yin fluid and hyperactivity of yang energy). The above drugs should be used under the supervision of a physician. If the symptoms are serious, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and use the medication as prescribed by the doctor, do not use the medication on your own to avoid delaying the condition.
