Ant bites, itchy and painful considered to be caused by insect bite dermatitis, can be treated through general treatment, medication and other treatment modalities to control the condition and reduce symptoms.
1. General treatment: after being bitten by ants, there are uncomfortable symptoms, first of all, you can rinse the skin at the site of the bite with soapy water to reduce the symptoms; and then use iodine povine to disinfect the local treatment to prevent secondary infection; itching is obvious, you can use cold towels, ice and other ice packs to deal with.
2. Drug treatment: when the symptoms are obvious, you can use topical antipruritic treatment, such as glycerine lotion, zinc oxide ointment, etc.; topical glucocorticoids, such as hydrocortisone cream, dexamethasone ointment, etc., to promote the inflammation to subside; if necessary, you can take oral antihistamine treatment, such as loratadine, benzydamine and so on.
