What to do in summer when you speak with a lack of middle qi and a deficiency of the spleen

In summer, excessive sweating and leakage of fluid may lead to loss of qi along with the fluid, resulting in symptoms of deficiency of qi in the middle of the body (weakness of qi in the spleen and stomach). If accompanied by a deficiency of the spleen, Chinese medicines such as tonifying the middle Jiaozhong and Yiqi Pills and Sijunzi Pills can be taken to strengthen the spleen and replenish qi to alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms.

Tonifying the Middle Jiao Qi Pill: composed of Astragalus (honey-roasted), Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (stir-fried), Radix Angelicae Sinensis, and Rhizoma Aspergillus, it has the effect of tonifying the middle jiao and benefiting the qi (treating qi deficiency by replenishing the spleen), and can be used to improve the symptoms of tiredness and fatigue, prolapse of viscera and so on, and also can be used to alleviate the symptoms of low qi and lazy speech (lack of strength, not wanting to speak), shortness of qi and lack of energy.
2. Sijunzi Pill: It is composed of Radix Codonopsis, Atractylodes Macrocephala, Poria, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae and other traditional Chinese medicines, which has the efficacy of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen. It is suitable for those who have deficiency of qi in the spleen and stomach, have poor gastric intake, have less food and loose stools (thinning of feces without shape), shortness of qi and lack of strength, and have less qi and lazy speech.
