Chronic gastritis is usually not caused by fire. Chronic gastritis is mainly caused by H. pylori infection, such as chronic superficial gastritis and chronic atrophic gastritis. Chronic gastritis can also be caused by dietary and environmental factors. If the patient’s diet is high in salt and lack of fresh vegetables and fruits for a long time, it often leads to atrophy and intestinalization of the gastric mucosa. There are other exogenous factors, including alcoholism, use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and certain irritating foods, as well as chemical and radiological damage. There may also be autoimmune factors that cause autoimmune gastritis, which is also a type of chronic atrophic gastritis, as well as some chronic gastritis of unknown origin. The most common is Helicobacter pylori infection, and there is also chronic gastritis caused by diet and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Fire basically does not appear to be chronic gastritis, and patients are advised to seek medical attention if necessary.
