The so-called one-needle treatment for knee pain lacks evidence-based medicine and has no scientific validity. Knee pain requires comprehensive treatment, and the methods mainly include conservative treatment and surgical treatment.
1. Conservative treatment: including heat therapy, massage, physiotherapy, medication and so on. Drug treatment includes oral and injectable drugs. Oral drugs are mainly non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, etc.; injectable drugs mainly refer to the mixture of hormones and local anesthetic, such as dexamethasone and lidocaine, etc.; and lubricating drugs, such as sodium vitrate, etc. The above drugs should be used under doctor’s supervision. The above drugs should be used under the guidance of doctors, avoid self-medication.
2. Surgical treatment: mainly for traumatic knee pain, patients who have not seen significant improvement after conservative treatment, and patients whose joint deformity seriously affects normal life. Surgical methods mainly include knee arthroscopy cleaning, knee arthroscopy ligament repair, reconstruction, knee joint replacement and so on. Specific surgical methods need to be decided by the doctor after a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s condition.
For the same disease, patients with different physical conditions and different stages of the disease have different treatment methods, and should be treated in a standardized way under the guidance of the doctor.
