What are the symptoms of hepatic encephalopathy?

Hepatic encephalopathy can be divided into 5 stages, with different clinical symptoms in different periods, which cannot be simply summarized as follows.
Stage 1.0: i.e. latent stage, there is no abnormality in behavior and character, and only mild abnormality in psychological test and intelligence test.
Stage 2.1: i.e. the prodromal stage, there may be mild changes in personality, and neurological abnormalities such as amnesia, apathy, anxiety, sleep inversion, and euphoric agitation may occur.
3.2 Stage: i.e. pre-comatose stage, manifested by drowsiness, slurred speech, behavioral abnormalities such as urinating and defecating anywhere, dysgraphia and so on.
4.3 Stage: i.e. coma stage, although sleepy but can be awakened, often with confusion, hallucinations, etc..
5.4 Stage 5.4: i.e. the coma stage, which is characterized by unconsciousness and inability to be awakened.
