Cervical spondylosis needs to take imaging tests to assist in diagnosis, cervical spondylosis often needs to take the following types of imaging tests: first, cervical spine X-ray in the front and side position can observe the physiological curvature of cervical vertebrae, cervical vertebrae degenerative changes in the status of the cervical vertebrae, such as osteophytes, posterior longitudinal ligament ossification, calcification of the collateral ligament, etc., and cervical spine bi-oblique X-ray can be observed to see if the foramen ovale is stenotic, which is particularly suitable for the patients with nerve root type of cervical spondylosis. Secondly, cervical MRI can observe the dehydration, degeneration and protrusion of cervical intervertebral discs and the degree of pressure on nerves and spinal cord, and whether degeneration and necrosis occurs inside the spinal cord, and it can also observe the sagittal and transverse diameter of cervical spinal canal, and determine whether the cervical spinal canal stenosis occurs. If there are dizziness symptoms, it is also necessary to carry out cervical spine angiography magnetic simulation examination to observe whether the vertebral artery has stenosis. The above imaging tests are not interchangeable and can be performed selectively according to the patient’s condition.
