Yin Replenishing Tang is from “Shih室秘錄” (Secret Record of the Stone Chamber), which is a type of tonic formula.
This drug has the efficacy of nourishing yin and lowering fire (nourishing yin essence and lowering fire), moistening dryness and replenishing blood, and can be used clinically for treating patients with excess yang and insufficient yin.
