What are the conservative treatments for pulmonary fibrosis?

Conservative treatments for pulmonary fibrosis often include general treatment, oxygen inhalation, medication, and treatment of comorbidities.
1. General treatment: patients with pulmonary fibrosis need to be advised to quit smoking, combine work and rest, moderate exercise.
2. Oxygen intake: In patients with respiratory failure, oxygen intake can alleviate the symptoms of hypoxia. Oxygen therapy is recommended if the partial pressure of arterial oxygen is ≤60mmHg or the arterial oxygen saturation is ≤90%.
3. Drug therapy: Anti-fibrotic drugs (e.g. pirfenidone, nidanib), glucocorticoids (e.g. prednisone, methylprednisolone), immunosuppressant drugs (e.g. cyclophosphamide, cyclosporine) can be used for pulmonary fibrosis.
4. Treatment of comorbidities: if the patient is combined with gastro-esophageal reflux, proton pump inhibitors (such as omeprazole, pantoprazole) can be applied; if the combination of lung infections can be applied to anti-infective drugs (such as cephalosporin antibiotics, penicillin), expectorant drugs (N-acetylcysteine, aminoglutethimide hydrochloride) and so on.
Suffering from pulmonary fibrosis need to go to the hospital in time to clarify the specific causes, under the guidance of the doctor for standardized treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
