The early cirrhosis ultrasound report card is viewed in several ways, including the localized shape and contour of the liver, the smoothness of the surface, the characteristics of the liver echoes, and the characteristics of the portal venous blood flow.
Early cirrhosis color ultrasound shows that there is thickening of the liver envelope, the surface may appear not smooth, and the contour of the liver is slightly larger or normal.
The right lobe of the liver may become smaller, while the left lobe of the liver may have compensatory hypertrophy, the echoes in the liver parenchyma appear dense, and the color ultrasound echoes are diffusely enhanced and thickened.
The portal vein blood flow rate in the liver is relatively slower than normal, and the portal vein may show reversal of blood flow.
Early cirrhosis can only be diagnosed by color ultrasound as an auxiliary reference, and should be judged by the doctor according to the patient’s medical history, physical examination, and other auxiliary examinations.
