Why does the pelvis tilt forward

Anterior pelvic tilt may be caused by iliopsoas muscle tension, irregular movements, muscle pulling, imbalance between anterior and posterior pelvic muscles, pregnancy, poor daily posture and other reasons.
1. Iliopsoas muscle tension: when the iliopsoas muscle is tense, it is easy to lead to the strengthening of the hip joint side rotation movement, resulting in the lumbar spine anterior protrusion, and then the symptoms of anterior pelvic tilt.
2. Unstandardized movements: some unstandardized movements can lead to anterior pelvic tilt, such as unstandardized deep squatting movement, which can lead to excessive muscle strength of the posterior lumbar spine muscles and quadriceps, and imbalance of the front and rear muscles, which will lead to the symptoms of anterior pelvic tilt.
3. Muscle pulling: If there is a problem in the lumbar region, the lumbar muscles will pull on the spine, and at the same time pull on the pelvis, resulting in anterior tilt.
4. Muscle imbalance between anterior and posterior pelvic muscles: If the patient’s anterior and posterior pelvic muscles are imbalanced, such as the imbalance between the posterior pelvic muscles and the iliopsoas muscles, it will lead to anterior pelvic tilt.
5. Pregnancy: After pregnancy, the pressure of the abdomen on the lumbar spine gradually increases over time, resulting in anterior pelvic tilt, which can be slowly recovered after delivery.
6. Poor daily posture: If you often use one leg when standing, it is easy to produce a certain pressure on the pelvis, which will easily lead to anterior pelvic tilt over a long period of time.
There are many reasons for anterior pelvic tilt, and the above are only six common ones. It is recommended that patients seek medical attention to confirm the cause of the disease and receive timely treatment.
