How to know if you are having a stroke

  Clinical manifestations of stroke (1) numbness of the face, corners of the mouth, numbness of the arms and legs or transient limb weakness, unsteadiness in standing or walking, hemiparesis of the limbs; (2) loss of hearing on one side, slurred speech, transient blackness in both or one eye; (3) headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diplopia, gaze paralysis; (4) sudden blurring of consciousness (5) previous history of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, long-term heavy smoking or alcohol consumption, and other risk factors for stroke; previous history of recurrent dizziness and headache; previous history of syncope. If one or more of the above symptoms occur suddenly, consider the possibility of stroke and go to the hospital without delay.
