Hepatitis B virus 2.83+05 is serious depending on a combination of factors such as the presence of liver function impairment, episodes of hepatitis, liver fibrosis, and a family history of liver cancer. Hepatitis B virus 2.83+05 indicates that the viral DNA is in the process of replication, but it is not necessarily serious. The following conditions indicate more seriousness. 1. If there is an elevation of gammaglutaminase, and other causes have been ruled out. 2. Cirrhosis, liver failure, hepatitis B, liver transplantation, immunosuppressant application, and combined hepatitis C are present. 3. If none of the above conditions are present, but there is histologic inflammation of the liver, or cirrhosis. 4. Family history of hepatitis B cirrhosis or hepatitis B hepatocellular carcinoma, and age greater than 30 years. 5. Age greater than 30 years, non-invasive techniques for determining hepatic fibrosis or histologic examination of the liver showing hepatic inflammation and fibrosis. 6. Presence of extrahepatic hepatitis B virus infection, such as hepatitis B nephritis. 7. Development of compensated cirrhosis, etc. All of the above cases require long-term antiviral treatment, which means they are more serious.
