What’s with the fever and the skin pain?

Fever skin pain may be caused by lactic acid buildup, release of interleukins, and increase in prostaglandins.
1. Lactic acid buildup: Fever causes the body’s metabolism to speed up, producing large amounts of lactic acid, which builds up and leads to generalized aches and pains.
2. Release of interleukins: An increase in endogenous pyrogens, also known as leukocyte pyrogens, such as tumor necrosis factor, interleukins, and interferons, can lead to pain production.
3. Increase in prostaglandins: Under the action of various pyrogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc., the synthesis and release of prostaglandins increase. Prostaglandins are associated with pain, which can cause pain in the skin and surrounding soft tissues.
Fever skin pain may also have other causes, if the fever persists and does not improve, you should promptly go to the hospital for treatment.
