What is allergic rhinitis? What are the common allergens?

Allergic rhinitis; also known as nasal allergy, or sometimes “cushings”, is an overreaction of the body’s immune system to the presence of allergens in the surrounding environment.

Common allergens: pollen (trees, grass seeds); molds (indoor and outdoor); animal dander (especially cats, dogs and mice); dust mites; others (such as decorative materials, car exhaust, cosmetics or food additives).
