Survival rate after stage 1a lung cancer surgery

Stage 1a lung cancer is early stage lung cancer with low recurrence rate after surgery. The 5-year survival rate of lung cancer in early stage, treated by surgery, is 77% to 92%. Therefore, nowadays, the treatment of lung cancer should also be improved to early diagnosis and early treatment, and patients should be detected early. High-resolution thin-layer CT of the chest can improve the diagnosis rate of patients. If early stage lung cancer is found, it is still necessary to actively communicate with patients and family members and recommend early surgery because stage 1a lung cancer only requires surgery and does not require any subsequent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but close observation and follow-up after surgery is still necessary.
