Gastroenteroscopies are done together and separately. This is related to the patient’s personal will, physical condition, and the purpose of the examination. 1. Individual will: Gastroenteroscopy is an invasive operation, so some patients can accept to do it together, they can choose to do it together, and those who can’t accept it can choose to do it separately. 2. Physical condition: those who are in good physical condition, normal spirit, normal cardiopulmonary function and can tolerate it can choose to do it together, while those who are in poor physical condition and have heart problems can choose to do it separately. 3. Purpose of the examination: purely for the purpose of examination, can be done together. If there may be endoscopic operation and treatment in addition to examination, then it is recommended to do it separately. Avoid taking too much time, which is not tolerated by the patient, as well as giving the patient enough time to rest and recover for the next examination.
