It is possible to press the pulse alone or in total.
1. The doctor faces the patient and uses his left hand to examine the patient’s right hand and his right hand to examine the patient’s left hand. First, the middle finger is pressed on the Guan pulse at the medial side of the high bone at the back of the palm; then the index finger and the ring finger are placed sequentially, with the index finger in front of the Guan and the ring finger behind the Guan; the three fingers are in the shape of an arch, with the tips of the fingers aligned, and the eyes of the fingers are in contact with the veins.
2. Pressing the pulse with all three fingers at the same time is a total press, and the overall feeling of the three pulses; while using one finger to press a single pulse, focusing on experiencing the pulse is called a single press. At the same time, according to the need, you can float and sink; float with less force, sink with more force.
