Pediatric fever first recommended oral medications to lower the temperature, if it is determined that the bacterial infection can be supplemented with antibiotics intravenous drip (infusion), enema and non-conventional recommended therapy.
Pediatric fever temperature below 38.5 ℃, should be preferred to physical cooling treatment, such as warm water bath. When the temperature exceeds 38.5℃ and the child is obviously uncomfortable, oral ibuprofen suspension or acetaminophen should be preferred for antipyretic treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
Pediatric fever should be promptly to the regular hospital for medical treatment, prescribed examination, to determine the focus of infection for causative treatment, such as bacterial infection, antibiotic drugs can be used for infusion or oral medication (such as cefixime, etc.). Enemas are generally not routinely recommended as a treatment to reduce fever in pediatric patients.
