The Zhongji point is on the anterior midline of the body, in the lower abdomen, 4 inches below the navel. The line between the navel and the pubic bone union is 5 inches, which can be divided into five equal parts for taking the point.
According to the law of near cure, distant cure and cure by meridian of the acupoint, this point is mainly used for treating the anterior yin diseases such as retention of urine (dribbling of urine or inability to urinate), dysuria (inability to urinate), and enuresis; the male diseases such as spermatorrhea and impotence; and gynecological diseases such as menstrual disorders, infertility, yin ting (prolapsed uterus of a woman or even prolapsed out of the vaginal opening), itching of the vagina, incomplete discharge of evil dew in the postnatal period, and abnormalities of the belt.
Clinical treatment of related diseases can be operated by moxibustion, acupuncture, acupoint patch, etc. It can also be used for daily health care. Use with caution for pregnant women. It is not recommended to operate by yourself and should be operated by professionals.
