Abdominal flatulence with exhaustion in the afternoon is mainly considered clinically as intestinal diseases, especially diseases of the colon system. Colonic diseases that commonly cause these symptoms include colitis or intestinal tuberculosis, intestinal tumors, and incomplete intestinal obstruction caused by polyps. Colitis is usually secondary to the consumption of unclean food in the summer and fall, and usually has a history of unclean food consumption and can be associated with mild abdominal pain and discomfort, which is usually relieved after 2-3 days of antibiotic treatment. Intestinal tuberculosis is usually secondary to open tuberculosis in the lungs, which can manifest as vague abdominal pain and discomfort, and generally requires further tuberculin testing to clarify the diagnosis, which usually requires regular anti-tuberculosis treatment. For incomplete intestinal obstruction caused by intestinal tumors and polyps, further colonoscopy is usually required to make a clear diagnosis, and surgery is needed to obtain symptom relief or even cure after a clear diagnosis.
