Purulent leukorrhea is considered to have vaginal inflammation or cervical inflammation. If it is accompanied by pain in the abdomen, it may be caused by inflammation of the adnexa. You need to see a doctor for routine leucorrhea examination, gynecological examination as well as colposcopy and ultrasound, which can find out where the cause is and then give appropriate treatment measures. For ordinary vaginal inflammation resulting in purulent leucorrhea, metronidazole vaginal effervescent tablets can be used under doctor’s supervision. If there is mycoplasma-chlamydia infection, macrolide antibiotics such as azithromycin tablets or erythromycin tablets can be used. If adnexitis is the cause, give penicillin and cephalosporin antibiotics drip if necessary. In milder cases, you can take oral antibiotics and do physical therapy.
