Symptoms of late stage wheals

The late stage of mydriasis, also called the abscess stage, in which there are no local manifestations of acute inflammation such as redness, swelling, heat, or pain, but only hard nodules or bumps under the eyelids, is mainly due to the formation of local abscesses. In this case, if the abscess is relatively small, conservative treatment can also be considered, such as continuing to use antibiotic eye drops or eye ointment to control inflammation and applying local heat to promote blood circulation around the eyelid, and a few people may be able to absorb it on their own. If the abscess is large, conservative treatment with medication is not very effective and it is difficult to get the abscess to absorb completely. In this case, it is advisable to go to a regular hospital as soon as possible for surgical excision and drainage of the abscess, so that the disease can be completely cured and recurrent attacks can be prevented.
