What are the signs of vaginal laxity and how is the surgery performed?

The vagina is the channel for the discharge of menstrual blood, the channel for the birth of a child, and the organ for sexual intercourse. The causes of vaginal laxity can be caused by multiple pregnancies and abortions, or by weakness and disease, or endocrine disorders. Vaginal laxity is not only the relaxation of the vaginal walls but also the relaxation of the urethral sphincter and vaginal sphincter, the vaginal cavity becomes wider and the vaginal opening can pass more than three fingers wide. Vaginal laxity affects the pleasure of sexual intercourse. Surgical methods include longitudinal excision of the mucosa of the posterior vaginal wall and part of the perineal skin, or a semi-circular incision at the junction of the vaginal mucosa and perineal skin on the posterior side of the vaginal opening to fold and tighten the vaginal sphincter. Regardless of the method, the vaginal sphincter is tightened so that the vaginal opening can only pass 1 to 2 fingers wide.
