When a person with facial melanosis goes to the hospital, the doctor will first ask questions and examine the patient’s facial melanosis, such as when it occurred, how it changed, its size, location, colour and the presence of hair, etc. The doctor may recommend further tests, such as histopathological examination, if needed.
