The treatment of bone tuberculosis is a long course of treatment. Bone tuberculosis is generally divided into spinal tuberculosis, large joint tuberculosis and small joint tuberculosis. Generally, joint tuberculosis requires one and a half to two months of anti-tuberculosis treatment before surgery, large joint tuberculosis requires one month of anti-tuberculosis treatment, and small joint tuberculosis generally requires two months of anti-tuberculosis treatment before surgery. After the anti-tuberculosis treatment, the operation is done, and after the operation, generally spinal tuberculosis and large joint tuberculosis need to take anti-tuberculosis drugs for one year to one and a half years. During this period, the examination is done once a month for the first six months, and after six months it can be done once every three months. If no radical bone changes occur, it is cured.
