This drug is generally well tolerated, has mild side effects, and usually does not require lutefisk treatment. The overall incidence of side effects with the application of this drug is similar to that of placebo. Clinical studies have evaluated the use of this drug in 2600 patients 15 years of age and older. In two similarly designed, placebo-controlled 12-week clinical trials, ≥1% of patients in the drug-treated group experienced abdominal pain and headache related to drug administration. The incidence was higher than in patients treated with placebo. The incidence of these side effects was not significantly different between the two groups. 544 patients used the drug cumulatively for at least 6 months, 253 for 1 year and 21 for 2 years in the clinical trial, and the adverse effects of long-term use were not different from those described above. The use of the drug in approximately 320 pediatric patients aged 6 to 14 years has been evaluated. In an 8-week clinical trial with placebo as a control, only headache was drug-related, with a higher incidence of this side effect in >1% of patients than in patients treated with placebo, but there was no significant difference in the incidence of these side effects between the two groups. 143 pediatric patients used the drug cumulatively for at least The adverse effect profile of long-term use was not different from that described above. It is recommended to question the local hospital, because there is a difference between the drug in one place and another.
