Rapid induced intubation for intestinal obstruction is usually a treatment to alleviate the symptoms by draining the obstructed intestinal contents, which requires prompt medical treatment once detected. The treatment of intestinal obstruction includes conservative treatment and surgical treatment. Rapid induction intubation for intestinal obstruction is one of the conservative treatments for intestinal obstruction, and due to the large trauma of surgical treatment, it is generally not easily attempted, but for the patients with more serious symptoms of conservative treatment, if severe abdominal distension occurs, rapid induction intubation can be chosen for the treatment. The catheter for rapid induction intubation of intestinal obstruction needs to be inserted through the nasal cavity by radiologic, interventional or endoscopic means, and then inserted into the obstruction area to relieve the patient’s symptoms by draining the proximal intestinal contents of the obstruction.
