The 5-year overall survival rate of colorectal cancer is about 65%, which is related to the tumor stage. If early colorectal cancer is detected by screening and correct treatment is given, its 5-year survival rate can reach 90%; while the survival rate in the middle stage will decrease, at 60% to 70%; and the 5-year survival rate in the late stage is even lower than 10%. Therefore, if any abnormality occurs, one should go to the hospital as early as possible to avoid delay.
