Causes of high eosinophil ratio

There are many reasons for high eosinophils, the most common of which are allergic diseases, such as skin allergic diseases, such as dermatitis eczema and hives; respiratory allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis and asthma, and digestive allergies, such as eosinophilic esophagitis, all of which can present with high eosinophils. High eosinophils also indicate that the patient has allergic physical qualities and may be more difficult to treat. In addition to allergic diseases, parasitic infections can also cause high eosinophils, and some may even be significantly elevated. Some skin conditions, like herpetic pemphigoid and pemphigus, can also have elevated eosinophils. Diseases like atopic dermatitis, which is related to hereditary allergies, are also common causes of high eosinophils.
